    Jessica, an Alaskan since infancy, pursued a nursing career in Anchorage, specializing in emergency medicine before earning her graduate degree in Nursing from UAA in 2015. As a nurse practitioner in primary and urgent care, she’s now delving into integrative medicine, exploring patient views on alternative therapies and pursuing certification as a functional medicine provider. Alongside managing medications and patient care, she cherishes outdoor adventures with her two daughters—hiking, fishing, camping, biking, skiing, and exploring nature.
